This was actually a hard painting to finish, not because of the design i impulsively created which may in fact look like any sort of random crayon and marker rendition of what might be peices of a tribal, but rather this was painted on a ceiling tile and actually the second painting i'd adorned it with. it was difficult to paint because of the texture and the limitations of detail i was presented with even after a layer of gesso, a layer of acrylic and spray paint, another two layers of gesso and even finally the layer of acrylic you see now. but the photo doesn't give the painting justice because i think there's a certain dimension to the aethetics you can't gestate by simple viewing a flat wad of pixels on a plasma or glass screen. either way i hope you like it (despite the fact i still want to paint over it again with another layer and try something new, who knows)
